2012 Brit Award Nominees and Performers Including Adele, Rihanna & More Announced
Jan 2012 12

With the recent announcement of performers at the 54th Grammy Awards, the UK’s equivalent, The Brit Awards have not only announced the performers, but also a full list of the nominees.

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran scored the most nominations with four, while Adele and Jessie J are each nominated for three. Rihanna, Beyonce and Lady Gaga are all nominated once in the same category for ‘International Female Solo Act.’ Other notable acts with nominations include Bruno Mars (1), Coldplay (2), Florence + the Machine (2), Jay-Z and Kanye West (1).

Who will be taking to the stage? Rihanna, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Adele, Florence + the Machine, and Ed Sheeran.

I’m surprised that Jessie J wasn’t announced yet as a performer, but hopefully she will be. This also marks the return of Adele, unless she decides to perform at the Grammy’s which actually airs before the Brit Awards on Feb. 12. The suspense is mounting!
